Vol fans please don’t wear black at Vandy.

I know that a lot of our fans like the dark mode jerseys.
But please remember that black is one of Vandy’s colors.
So, for this game, we need all of our fans to wear Orange to the game.
Thank you. GBO!
It’s supposed to be in the 30’s on Saturday. I think we’re going to have to wear the winter coats or coveralls. I don’t have Big Orange gear for below 40.

Give me a ticket, and I’ll wear my white away jersey over my layers of warm clothes.

That’s why they have shopping malls both in person and online.

I was wondering who keeps malls in business. That concept has been outdated since about the time Sears was no longer profitable.

No thanks, I’m not wasting money on something that will be worn once.

Well, I tried.
I know few people want to wear our shade of orange unless it’s at a UT game.
Some entrepreneur could make money by selling Tenn Orange cheap slickers that could be worn over a heavy coat 🧥 or jacket at games.
And/or buy some tshirt in Tenn Orange in 3XL and wear it over your coat? 😉
This way you stay warm, don’t have to buy an orange overcoat but you still represent your team with more Orange in the stands. . 😜

Who cares what we wear - the only thing that matters is how loud we are. I have a black UT sweatshirt I will likely wear

Why it (nominally) matters is that black colors in the Stadium in Nashville indicates Vandy fans.
Orange indicates Tennessee fans.
So the more Orange that is seen, the more the announcers will say…wow, there’s a lot of Vol fans here.
Doesn’t change the outcome of the game.
You’re certainly not obligated to wear Orange, of course.

It’s just as a Vol fan, I like to brag that we “took over” Vandys Stadium with so much orange in the stands.

It was worth mentioning. If the weather is reasonable, I’ll wear my orange on top. I can’t promise that I won’t be wearing Carhartt brown instead, though.

Imagine the surprise when a sea of black boos every call that goes against Tennessee. 😆
