I will be in Nashville beginning this Sunday night for the CMA Awards next week. Any Vol fans that want to meet and grab a drink and talk Vol sports, let me know. I'll be staying downtown at the Vanderbilt Hotel but would love to take the cab ride anywhere in the city!

Up here in Indiana, its very difficult to find Vol fans to chat with with the exception of Indyvol!

Lynchburg rocks....I will be in Nashville on Sunday for the Titans game, then on wednesday for a meeting....My wife will be with me but you are more than welcome to join and have a brew with us...

I used to date a girl from Lynchburg. She used to get uncut Jack Daniel's, technically moonshine. Good times.

How do you get uncut Jack Daniels? I have taken the tour and from what I remember they don't make that and if they got caught sneaking it out they would lose their federal license to distil, which would not be good for Brown-Forman's future.

Actually Jack Daniels makes a "Silver Select" brand that is illegal in the US and only sold overseas...I purchased about 5 bottles on my last tour....Good stuff, but basically all that is, is charrd moonshine...still really good..

I don't know. She said the people that worked there would sneak some out and sell it.

She had it and I drank it though.

comes in a really nice collective glass bottle to, each with a tag showing the date, who handled it and when left lynchburg....i think i will have a little sip of it when i get home now that i am thinking about it..

A friend and I made some once. It was clear, and would make you quite drunk. The only two quasi-positive things I can say about it.

Corn and oats. When I tell you that it would peel paint and eat through plastic I am not kidding.

Of course what I said was a joke. Water and Alcohol no matter what the % mix will never disolve plastics or paints or anything of the like. Alcohol simply can't do it, or it would be quite impossible to drink.

No it wasn't. The girl had this stuff in a plastic bottle. White and clear, just like moonshine. You pour it in a styrofoam cup and it would start to dissolve the styrofoam. Swear to God. It was terrible and she mixed it with Sundrop.

However it worked. One swallow and it was game over.
