For about a few months I've been having reoccurring dreams about a few games from the past season. One of them for example is the Florida game on 4th down where Callaway caught the heartbreaking touchdown. It just seems to keep playing in my head while I'm asleep, and I can't seem to stop it from happening....Is this happening to anybody else??

Haven't had a replay of any games, but I've had nightmares of Florida winning again this year in Knoxville.

Must be the BVS.

I literally had a nightmare last night that we lost to Appy State 35-33. I woke up furious.

I dreamed earlier this year that we beat Alabama but I didn't get to see it because I was stuck at work and no one would let me get to a TV.

I normally dream that UT wins. I remember having a dream in 2010 that we beat Bama in a shootout. It was like a MACtion game and Simms threw for about 500 yards.

Worst dream I've ever had about UT came after the Vandy loss in 2013. Somehow seeing James Franklin's grinning mug on TV after the game became imprinted in my brain. Took forever to fall asleep after that loss, and when I finally did, I dreamed that I was at work and Franklin was my new Bill Lumbergh-esque boss.

I woke up so pissed off. Then I checked Twitter and saw where Caleb Azubike was talking smack. My hatred for Vandy grew considerably after those events.

Dear CamVol8 in VolNation:

I understand your frustration. You are not alone. From time to time, traumatic recall through dreams can affect us all.

I don't know a lot about how the brain works while sleeping, so I reached out to a real subject matter expert, Professor Lil Charger of the University of Tennessee Medical School. Professor Charger told me that this is a very normal thing, and nothing to be overly concerned about. He also pointed out that the experts at UT are working on a cure right now, one expected to hit the market beginning September the 1st of this year. The name of this miracle cure is called Team 120, a cure built on a solid foundation of we gone whup dey azzes, all dey azzes.

So be strong, CamVol8, it looks like the cure is coming just in time, for you and millions of others.

:)

I thought I was dreaming that yesterday, but that was the replay on the SEC channel. Still can't believe we lost that game....Florida must have an angel on their shoulder:naughty:

Not even kidding, I had one where we were losing 27-13 in the 3rd last night.

Recent years of heartbreak will do it to you.

The Vols dropping the opener to App State would probably create the biggest CFB fanbase meltdown of all time.

I've had depression about UT football for more than a decade. This has been a LONG climb out.

To all those that are having nightmares. STOP SLEEPING,
they will go away.
To all those that are suffering depression. STOP LOOKING IN THE MIRROR: Works for me! :hi:

I was laying in bed last night and drifted off to sleep and I had a dream we were beating Appy State 14-3. I woke up feeling kind of sad, but I cheered up because I realized it was only a dream cause I know we will beat Appy State by way more than that!

Thanks Mr. Lance Harbor.

Lexapro works only if your depressed, but the last decade of Tennessee football has been somewhat depressing....

2016 the year of the Vol?

I sure hope so!
