Vol calls is moving to Wednesdays to allow more focus on the upcoming opponent?
And less on the last game? Are the powers getting ready for tough times; allowing two more days for the fans to recover?
Does this mean the regular Thursday night show is pre-empted; and this is simply a cost-cutting measure?

Just thinking out loud. There is always a reason for everything, and the explanation given ain't it.

IIRC the Thursday show will be moving to the Monday time slot. There is a thread from a few weeks back discussing this.

You know it's a quality show when you go to move the radio to listen to it so you don't have to blare it all over the house and your wife says to leave it where it is so she can listen to it too.

I'll hang up and listen.

Well at least they satisfied your curiousity. HOWEVER----"To allow for more focus on the upcoming opponent" is pretty lame.

Next-------I don't think there will be a Monday show. So this could very well be a cost cutter.

There is something about having a coach that sounds like the callers to Vol Calls that is reassuring to me.......(except he uses big words)

It was changed because Coach Dooley wanted to be able to come to the broadcast site and do an entire show in person and take calls for an hour, which he will begin doing in two weeks.

Finally thanks brother. I don't like the new UTsports.com. This is a D1 program. Get your website together UT or find someone else to run it.
