First time that I’ve actually heard Graham coach the kids and talk about UT. He’s a very impressive Coach and a great beacon for THE University of Tennessee. Go Vols!

Not gonna lie though.. Bryce at 20 was nice. I’ve never been a fan of changing numbers. Trevon at 25 yea you look huge.. 1 ehh it’s cool. When Todd Kelly changed his number . That being said Eason at 20 is nice too!

LSU and Clemson showed you have to run up the score on Bama with the long ball. Can’t beat Saban with slow grind it out drives.

Graham's credibility comes from what he demonstrated as a player! He was a MAN on the field in his day!

Agreed, that was then this is now, and there were so many other things working in the Vols favor during his time as RB. CJG knew how to get outside and GO!

I think he's gonna be a big factor in the improvement of our running game. We've stunk the last 2 years at running the football and if we're ever going to compete for championships again it will be because we worked ourselves back into the top half of the league in running statistics. I'm not as big on Gray as everyone else but I think CJG will demand he gets better at fighting through arm tackles and improves his pass protection. I think he'll really toughen Chandler up. We've got to get better at getting these 2 the ball out in space as I don't think either are very good between the tackles. I can't wait to see how we use Crouch if he continues to be used in short yardage situations as I think he's basically unstoppable when running behind Trey. I'm like everyone else, high hopes for the running game but cautiously I'll believe it when I see it.

To win against the great teams you have to have a QB that makes throws down the field. Defenses are so gap tuned now it is difficult to execute 20 play 80 yard drives on the ground. However, you have to be able to run the ball when you must run the ball, using power, misdirection and SPEED.

For the passing and running games to work, the defense must respect both. Our pass game gets no respect, like Rodney Dangerfield. Cannot run on a team daring you to throw.

Amen! With Chandler and Gray he has an opportunity display his skills as a great RB coach. I expect them to be significantly better and rightly so with improved O line play.
