Calhoun "PD" pulled me over for running their stop sign. I told the cop that I saw him sitting on the side of the road and I know I had stopped. He told me that I didn't stop for long enough and said "You should have counted to 3 Mississippi before pulling onto the highway".

. He wrote me a ticket and I went to the library/mayor's office/ police station to pay the fine. The "librarian" told me I owed them $220. I said "I didn't damage the stop sign and to be honest, I didn't even run it and I sure wasn't interested in buying it." I told her I wanted to dispute the ticket and she gave me a court date. I asked her where the court house was and she said "right here in the library". Her assistant chimed in and said "welcome to Mayberry".
Anytime I drive down 75S and see the exit for Calhoun, I think about taking stop sign.
