VN Blog: Jacques Smith and Ooltewah off to a good start

My grandson is named Tyler and I'm disappointed his inaugural football season was derailed due to having an injury to his heels called Severs disease. He is devastated but his body type and makeup reminds me of Chad Clifton. Lord help the linebacker when he is well and pulling to block for a sweeping tailback.

Tyner ran away from Jacques most of the night and when they did come his way he was double or triple teamed. I'd say the stats won't show he had a good game, but he really opened it up for the rest of the team to do their job.

Ooltewah's kicker put 5 out of 6 kickoffs through the back of the endzone and had a 40 yard punt that landed and rolled out of bounds at the 2 yard line.
