Im not sure who will use it more. She showed me all the recorders that were really compact and didnt require any accessories in the store the other day and its about the size of stapler. I guess thats the best idea for us, because once you buy the big and bad Sony's, you gotta get all the extra stuff to make it worth it. Its no longer a camera at that point. Its a freakin investment.

Make sure you upgrade the battery(or buy a bigger one) unless you want it going dead after about an hr or so. We bought a bigger one before we went to disney and it lasted much longer. We kept the one that came with it charged for a backup but never had to use it.
