Only played two series then was injured from what I hear...

What's his status?

No offense to Cory Sullins but I'd feel alot better with Vlad in there

Supposedly he could have went had Tennessee needed him to.

Everything I've heard claims he'll be starting against UCLA.

I don't believe Vlad was injured in the game. I think he might have tweaked something in practice last week and they were just resting him and giving Cory some playing time to help add depth to OL. I believe Vlad will be fine for UCLA. I am pretty sure that is what Kiffin said on his show Sunday.

I heard kiffin say in the presser today that Vlad wasn't going to practice...or at least I'm pretty sure that's what I heard...that's why I ask

Well if Vlad is not practicing all week, I'd say chances are he's not going to start this Saturday.

He'll play saturday, but if he doesn't, the Sullins bro's seemed pretty solid despite lack of size.

Whoever is playing guard Saturday will be facing one of the best DT's in college football...

I've got alot of love for the Sullins brothers but I'd feel alot better about Vlad in that matchup than Cory

VR has been nursing an injury for several weeks. I don't know how severe it is but it might have been better to sit him for WKU.

Vlad had a sore achilles and could have went the rest of the game but there was no reason to risk further injury. His status for UCLA is a go. He should be 100% and more than ready to go.

What's the deal with Vlad? Can someone put this thread to bed and tell us if he is a go or no go for this weekend. He's going up against one of the best DT in the country and I don't think Sullins gets it done. Someone. PLEASE let us know.
