VL - 2012 Big Board

Assuming worst case, both JJ & Brewer don't come back, we have 54 on scholarship. If we have 26 of last years commits make it in that gets us to 80 for this year. We have 11 Seniors that will bump us down to 69 at the end of this year, Which would allow us to sign 16 next year, if we lose 3 more then we could sign 19. I think at max we will sign 22 and I doubt it is even that high.
I think we'll sign a full class. The numbers will work themselves out.

We always lose 3 to 5 players a year for reasons ranging from not playing enough to home sick to academic causalty to arrested by campus police. So yes I think the numbers will work themsleves out.

If Brewer stays on the team, and we lose 5 players then we still only have room for next Year. We need to lose 10 players to have room for 25. If any walk on get a scholarship (Bullard), or we get any reduction in scholarships from the NCAA we would have to see even more attrition. I agree we will sign over 15, I just do not see us losing one player per month for the next 10 months.

I like it already. I have a kid you need to look up my bro Hunter Bradley. He's being looked at by auburn and mississippi state and southern miss really loves him. He's from memphis and i would really love it if Dooley and the gang would get him

Is there a Jr day thread?

We seem to be impressing the heck out of a lot of those that came, so I was wondering if there was a thread that listed who was here, what their prospective talent level is, etc.

I know it is too early to draw conclusions as to how the 2012 recruiting class will be but from what I've seen so far, the staff seem to be doing all the right things. My prediction is that the Vols will have a top ten class. I'm basing that on the fact that coach Dooley had an outstanding record retaining those he offered in the 2011 class. Players such as Danny O'Brien are already considered a lock to UT by other SEC schools. Go get um DD!!!!

I remember last year that everyone was dogging Dooley for not moving fast enough on the '11 class. :td:

Trust the process and not the end results.

I have added a few more prospects. Again, if there is anything that needs to be changed or updated just let me know

I'd bet that, being 175, he is 5'11" and it's just a typo. Or he's just a swole little dude and a beast cornerback.
