Vitello talks about working relationship with Pruitt

I'm waiting for the Al Bundy announcement. He once threw for 4 touchdowns in a game and his expertise with shoes will allow him to negotiate a great shoe contract.

He scored 4 TDs in one game, but never threw for them as he was a FB and not a QB.

Second, I would rather us talk Hayden Fox out of retirement. First, he was a successful HC who led the Screaming Eagles of Minnesota State to a National Championship in 1993 (Yet, we don't hear anything about them anymore.). Second, he also coached in the NFL for the Orlando Breakers (You don't hear about them anymore, either.). He has a more solid resume than Al Bundy's 4 TDs in one game.

To be honest I’ve lost all interest in the OC search. For all I care they can leave it open at this point, it doesn’t matter. It truly doesn’t matter anymore

Volnation is not divided!! We all know 5-7 no bowl football sucks. We just deal with our frustration in different ways. For instance I like drinking rye whiskey and following the Vol basketball team while others like starting threads about the OC search. Each to his own escape.

You don’t get to botch literally every hire for 10 years, then play the “Relax, we know what we’re doing” card as you find a replacement for someone you hired one year ago

Mods, can we sticky this perfect sentence please?

Chicken Little is a wus. Those with true apocalyptic foresight know that the falling sky is only the beginning. The sky will fall, the earth will crack, the oceans will be swallowed up, and life as we know it will end.

The longer this goes on the more I believe the delay is designed to help manage the fan bases' response to an underwhelming hire. They know we're nuts and hope to limit the mattress burnings.

I'm more than willing to be surprised on the upside.
So, my daughter is a senior, with all her college applications out right now. Obviously, it's a very anxious time for a teenager (and parents)...just watching the mail every day, waiting for the BIG envelope, as opposed to the small envelope or an email. Most give you a January-ish date for deadlines on "early action" submissions, but they start rolling in in December without notice...so, it's really about 4-6 weeks of being anxious to hear good news, frequently checking school portals and the mailbox.

Kinda reminds me of this OC search....go to work, checking periodically during the day for news, to no avail. Get up the next day, and repeat. So, maybe UT should do this hiring like admissions, and just send out OC notification envelopes in the mail. Big envelope means "knocked it out of the park". Small envelope...not so good.

And this needed its own thread because your sentiments and SOOO different than how many 100s of previous posts/threads?

Seriously, lets at least try to be a bit more original when giving the same repetitive whine.
There's not much else to talk about re UT football with no bowl game on the horizon. But how about that ESPN stadium food expose? Gnarly!

You may be right but personally I don’t think CJP gives two craps what the fan base thinks on situations like this. At least I hope he doesn’t.
