I’m on it, you kids are still young, Might fight you on the cooking part, but I’m polite, probably teach me something. Acting up and playing with the girls sounds good. On your break, don’t fall asleep..

Maybe because I’m not a mindless drone who will just clap like a seal when they show me a fish? We are mired in yet another dysfunctional coaching search & you people are gawking at this shiny object?

Although I'm curious about this whole thing, I do take extreme pleasure in seeing a thread about Pruitt and the baseball team and he's been doing some recruiting and he has some big recruits coming in this weekend. He seems like he's just going on with his business getting things done, while you and a few others are freaking the fork out like little girls wondering why nobody has asked them to the prom yet.

This is a good thing. Some coaches are reluctant to let guys play two sports. IIRC Russell Wilson got RUNNOFT from NC State because his football coach wouldn’t let him play baseball.

I honestly wish Coach V would have been more specific when he mentioned the negatives being weeded out. He should be close enough to the program to know what hes talking about but the vagueness of his statement makes me wonder what he's talking about. Or maybe it's just the typical thing you see written about with newer coaches.

Personally I would love to see what he is seeing so I can get aboard the CJP fan train. At this point I have yet to see much that makes me expect anything other than what weve been seeing.

Hopefully I'm wrong and Coach V is on the money.

2. Even your take on the dysfunctional coaching search is speculation at this point, unless you are the next man up with an inside source.

Divided into two camps, Chicken Littles vs Let This Play Out. I'm in the "Let This Play Out" camp. Sure everyone wants to know what's really going on with the OC search, and know it yesterday or last week. A lot of posters feel like UT is getting left behind other schools and their recent hires, and the lack of any credible information can be frustrating. But the people who need to know, CJP & ADPF, do. We don't. I for one have been most impressed with the almost complete lack of information during this search, no one with inside info is leaking anything to anyone. That is almost impossible in this day and age!

Chicken Littles ( imo ) will think we've offered practically everyone the OC job only to be turned down each and every time. I believe CJP has his OC and has for some time, and they are just waiting til their current gig is up. A couple of wild guesses would be someone in the same circumstances as Kitchens or Long. If it turns out to be Friend, I'll eat this post.

Again, I've been impressed with CJP's stealthiness...
