Wishful thinking on your part!

This whole situation is what happens when you run your mouth all the time and let your players act like cocky brats with bad sportsmanship! Makes him an easy target! I like TV, but he needs to grow up some and dial it back and establish some discipline in himself and team!
….some Italians understand nuance and some don’t!
This is pure bs..... statement. . How tf you gonna talk about TV when Oats is playing an admitted ***** accessory to murder. It's pretty damn text book. Kids playing a game and having fun talking a little sh1t is one thing. How fo you explain Bama and their bs ?

Agree. UT bends the knee like no other while others tell the NCAA to eff off. I bet CTV is pissed over the suspension and the whole situation. I could see him leaving one day due to admin ******** at UT if the right job came calling.

I have a feeling the moment a major league club comes calling he’ll listen. I’m trying to not overreact here, but just once I want our admin to tell the NCAA to screw off. Tony has done so much to restore this program. He deserves better than to be done dirty like this because of things everyone on this board knows is happening in nearly every other program across the country. Ridiculous.

Some need to back off the ledge.. unless you know directly what’s going on.. let’s stop assuming!
F that. Any UT fan has seen this crap over and over and over again. There's a stinking class system in college sports and we're sick and tired of it. UT is a boot licking whipping boy. We're reminded of it every damned time Bruce Pearl trots out onto the court in Auburn colors. Now it appears to be happening again. I'm just fed up with being "cooperative, compliant and BENT"!! Man the hell up UT. Fight for your coaches, fans and teams. Can't wait for the next email asking for a contribution. I'm sending back a great big FU to them.

Stop crying.. you want to be mad? Okay be mad at whoever it was that reported it and got them looking into our ****! I highly doubt UT by itself just said hey ncaa come over we think we have been cheating… blaming UT for this is just stupid . Again if all you do is read a message board and don’t have direct info on what’s going on then it’s prob best to not overreact

I would almost think what we are seeing is the last of this.. ncaa can’t find anything more than that small violation and this is a way to just end things and close the book

UT suspended him in hopes of getting some brownie points. It’s damage control at this point. UT is begging for forgiveness. We will see if forgiveness comes next week.

The AA can swallow a big bag of dicks suspending Vitello. This is 100% a shot at him because last years team made them clutch their pearls.
The NCAA didn't suspend him. UT did this on their own. Falling on their own sword so to speak. They(UT) claims Coach Vitello: "acknowledged his mistake and accepted full responsibility". I'm not sure I have a lot of faith in that comment.

Well, we basically laid waste to our entire football operation and spend who knows how much money doing the investigation for the NCAA and now over 2 years later, they STILL haven't removed the boot from our throats so forgive me if I'm a tad skeptical that it will all be this easy.

I don’t know the particulars, but IF it’s true that we tampered and got caught, welp.
The only thing we did wrong is not bury the bones. Im positive TN did not do anything any other school in the country hasnt done, especially in football.

Bruce did cheat and he was suspended for 3 years… he had to go, I would hope we aren’t comparing this to that

He committed a freaking secondary violation which would have been a slap on wrist - no suspension - no nothing. But Pearl lied then admitted the lie which is why he got hammered by the AA. That’s old news. Moral of the story is don’t lie - especially about a minor violation.
