Visits from Jan 9-11

Any news of how the visits went. I saw the rivals and scout link but am not a member.

Janzen Jackson said "The trip was nice, real nice." Eric Berry and Brent Vinson were his hosts. He met with Monte for lunch one day, and with Lane the next morning for breakfast. He said that he was very impressed with his meeting with Monte and said that they project him as a safety. His favorite part of the visit was his trip to Neyland, he went there one night for dinner and they had the lights on for him and a video playing. In the end he said that he was "still solid to LSU, but Tennessee definitely opened his eyes." I couldn't find anything on the other recruit that visited.

Interesting part about Brent Vinson. I don't think I would want a player with 1 strike left to be hosting one of the top recruits in the country.

Unless Vinson isn't in as much trouble as people have rumored.

I think he'll probably go to LSU, but his dad's supposed to come interview for the DB job sometime this week. If his dad is hired that could affect his choice. His dad is currently the DB coach at McNeese State. For what it's worth, he said that he wants to play safety in college and LSU has already told him that they expect to play him at corner.
