Do we have a list of visitors for the coming weeks? Seems like we have some very important recruits coming over the next 3 weekends. It so interesting that some quality kids have emerged so close to NSD.

Nice links and all, but I had thought both Mosley and Evans were slated to come in 24th.

Edit: Found VQ quote posted by Swanson.

Monday, Evans got a phone call from Tennessee defensive coordinator John Jancek, who offered the 6-2, 312-pound 4-star prospect a scholarship. Evans grew up in Mississippi and actually received mail from the Vols when he was a sophomore, but it was a week with a future Vol in Orlando that has him looking at the Vols and will have him in Knoxville the last weekend of January.

"I hung out with those guys committed to Tennessee while I was at the all-star game," Evans said. "Charles Mosley was on my team. We spent a lot of time together. We played side by side on the defensive line and we just kind of clicked. He's a great guy to hang out with."

"I've scheduled a visit for January 24th," Evans said. "Big Charles is going to be there this weekend too. I have never been to Tennessee, but I'm looking forward to seeing it."

"All those guys who I hung out with for the all-star game talked about how electrifying the campus is and the fans are," Evans said. "They are all so excited about getting there and what all is happening at Tennessee. I'm looking forward to seeing it in a few weeks."

Different sources with different but not conflicting info. I imagine the coaching staff will use up all the official visits the rules permit before signing day.

Thanks for the input. From these posts, it looks like this:

1/24
DT Mosley Current commit
DT Evans
DT Garnett
OT Knox

1/29
DT Thomas Current commit

1/31
DT Sawyers? (Updated)

Did I get everyone? No RB? No CB - Emmanuel Smith or DJ Smith?

I think it's great that our commits are so active in recruiting. Looks like Mosley really helped with Evans.

I thought Knox committed to USF this week. Does he still plan on making the official on the 24th?

Visitors this weekend per VQ...

This weekend will likely be the biggest visit weekend left for Tennessee as several uncommitted targets are set to be in town.

Craig Evans
Darrel Williams
Courtney Garnett
Rashaan Gaulden
Vic Wharton
Derek Barnett
Todd Kelly Jr.

I remember the last five years or so the January weekends were huge. Doesn't feel as important.

Need to paint the rock for these guys! Especially since Vic and TKJ, among others, had so much to do with getting this monster of a class going and keeping it together.

Not sure if there's enough room lol, but I think the other guys who are already enrolled and the other current commits deserve their names on there too since this may be the only time it gets painted before nsd. We could maybe even add a message to Adoree and D Scott (& whoever else still on the board) saying how much we want them added to the list and get the pic circulating on twitter or whatever.

Let's show these guys how much Volnation appreciates them. I'll pitch in some $ for supplies if needed but I'm in Nashville. Anyone in the Knox area have the time and a couple of buddies that could get this done? Time to step up and show this class, the class that will hopefully get us back to where we belong, some extra love from VN.

Any ideas on how to do it if we can organize it? Non commits names separate from commits names and say something like.... "We will Rise To The Top! Join us or watch us do it." #BrickByBrick #VFL #GBO #Volnation etc. Just a thought. I'm sure someone can come up with something better.

What y'all think? Can we get it done? If so, thoughts on what's the best way to do it? Should we single out guys like Adoree, D Scott, or whoever else or what?

Isn't Preston Williams visiting this weekend?? Didn't he say something to Sutton about visiting?

We should paint a wall with a few bricks missing. It could say. SEC champ 2016, NCAA champ 2017. That would be sick.

"It's grown," said Williams, who committed to the Volunteers back on Sept. 20. "It's stronger now. I'm a solid commit. It ain't gonna change. You won't hear me talking about any other college."

"It was a good experience," Williams told InsideTennessee. "I love this place. Can't dream of nothing else, can't say nothing bad about this place. It's a great place to be."

"It means a lot, man," Williams said. "Tennessee is going to be winning bowl games for at least the next 5-6 years. Tennessee's on the map right now."
