Look guys, he made a mistake. If DD thinks he's grown out of it then give him a chance. If I was being recruited by a school and read fans talking this **** about me there is no chance I'd go there. Why is it so hard to act like an adult sometimes? What if it's your son they're talking about? I've been a Vol fan since the 70's but damn sometimes you guys annoy me with this kind of ****. What happened to if you don't have something nice to say about someone don't say anything? My guess is most of you aren't over 18. Sorry if I'm *****y but this has been building for a while, if you feel the need to tell a joke then by all means just not about a recruit or player.

i've been wanting to say something similar to this for a while. Bonner would be a HUGE pickup for us. I'd hate to know that him or a family member read this crap on here and it affected his decision, even if just a tiny bit. It's not worth the risk putting that stuff on here. What if someone got on here that didn't know about MZTERRY and started bashing Crooms? That wouldn't look too good. Give the kid a break, he is by the way a kid. I'm sure nobody on here ever made a dumb mistake when they were a youngster. God knows i did.

I hear what you guys are saying but when you do something that boneheaded, you expect to be teased for it. Yes, when I was his age, I did some really dumb things. They usually first involved heavy drinking.

Some of these younger guys can say better than I, but something is going to get mentioned at some point. I was raised by parents who believed in not talking about that kind of stuff. Just sweep it under the rug and pretend it didn't happen. I think that is wrong. It is out there. You might as well come clean about it and then you can move on. If Dooley hasn't already asked for his side of the story, I would expect him to ask.

Maybe I am wrong?

Again, if he seems to be sorry and has learned from his mistake, I am all for giving him a second chance. I fully agree that young people (and sometimes older folks) make mistakes.

Bu..Bu...But Dooley teases players and makes them feel bad. We can't allow that kind of harassment to go on!

If Bonner is the only one coming, I think we should paint this on the rock....

"Please don't steal our rock!"

I can see what you guys are saying, but that first post is just funny. You do dumb things, you get teased. It's not really a personal shot, it's just a little jab. Hell, if I was the kid and read that, I'd probably laugh. If he's grown from his experience and knows what he did was wrong, something like that shouldn't bother him.

I think it's only teasing when it's done by a friend, someone who knows you.JMO

Yep! I might also add that they know you and the situation. ---- But to me, making jokes about someone and I don't really have personal knowledge of the situation or the person involved would be putting myself in harms way. Oh, sorry, this is the interweb. Carry on.

If you have a Bonner that last more than 4 hours in your locker room you should see campus security immediately. Ok.. Ok.. I'm done. Seriously he would be a huge get for this class! I hope he has realized how stupid he was and takes advantage of his second chance.

He is probably no worse than many others. He just got caught because he stupidly tried to sell the stuff on Facebook.
