Virginia Vols: Regarding UT License Plate

Well? We were really close yesterday at 9:42 am. Is there another update Vol in VA? Just trying to keep this on the front page until we have the numbers.

We haven't given up on the prospect of getting a Power 'T' plate in VA. We are about 45 shy of the number needed to get it into production. We tried by offering a raffle for tickets, but that failed and are now onto plan B.

Plan B means that I'll be heading to Bristol earlier than anticipated to set up a table to promote the license plates to get us over the hump. I'll be at the Vol headquarters for the Battle on the State Line Kick-off and Pep Rally at 620 State restaurant. Hopefully you won't miss me. Come say hello, help talk it up, buy the guy working the table a drink, but more importantly, come prepared to fill out an application to get us over the hump (although you can still mail it in before the game - email richmond.va.vols@gmail to get an application). Although we need 50 or so more, I would love to get 100 to 150 more to show DMV we are ready for a plate in VA.

Please spread the word that applications will be taken on site, whether via FB, Volnation forums, etc.

And do we need to prepay now or are we waiting 'til we get to 350?

3 and 4 days until this happens. If you are in Bristol on Thursday night and/or Friday afternoon, come out to 620 State Restaurant (the Vol headquarter during the Battle on the State Line Kick-Off and Pep Rally). Only need 41 more pre-paid applications.
