And despite what all you folks living in the hills think, not many people outside of Tennessee/Virginia even know about this game. I live like 6 hours away and bring it up to other football fans pretty regularly. I normally get a "huh? Playin in a racetrack? Why?"...
I still haven't found a good answer to that question. I think they think it's silly because it's against Virginia Tech, honestly. Not that we've been a powerhouse or anything as of late either, but I like to think it's because of VT.

This is an honest question.
I really want to know the reason behind the constant whining?
If you're an old jackass that has decided life is something better experienced on TV than in person fine, but admit as much.
If you are young jackass who's version of inconvenience is waiting for your page to refresh, also fine. We mock you behind your backs but still we get it.
Either way, you've decided not to attend the game for your own reasons.
But what is it in that little Eeyore like brain of yours, that makes you feel the need to constantly trash the game for those going?
Fact is that people will come to this game because it is a record breaking event. It will be packed.Blah blah blah to all these people who "know someone" that knows about the game. No $hi+. Obviously some people know about the game. Some people, also, don't care about the game and/or have never heard of it.
If they could have found a way to put bleachers or some type of seating on the track to get people closer it would be be better. There's such a large distance between the field and fans. I'm wondering if it will be as loud as people think because of that.
Those looking to get even closer to the action, Battlefield seats located on the track, start at $400
It will be loud. I have been there when no car engines were going like after the singing of the national anthem and it can be loud.
I'm being completely serious when I say this. The only thing that really scares me is that scoreboard hanging over the field. There are people out there who would love for an "accident" to happen and for that to fall on the field...maybe during halftime or something.
It would be deemed an "accident" but in secret would really be a terror attack.
I know, I hate to think like that; but unfortunately it is something we need to consider.
Just wondering, what is the cost of the mods to the race track? Whose paying what percentage?
Just a question!
