At Least 18 People Killed in Multiple Suicide Bombings in Nigeria​


Three female attackers detonated devices at a wedding and at a funeral in a city once ruled by Boko Haram, emergency service officials said. So far, no group has claimed responsibility.

As of Sunday afternoon, no group had claimed responsibility for the bombings. The blasts resembled attacks carried out by Boko Haram, whose fighters have killed tens of thousands in Nigeria and whose aggression in the region has led to the displacement of more than two million people.

Boko Haram insurgents have abducted thousands of teenage girls and coerced them into forced marriages. They have also forced many to carry out suicide attacks at schools, markets, religious buildings and large gatherings.

More than 100 Bodies Discovered in 'Organ-Harvesting Slaughterhouse': Hotel and mortuary sealed off by police in Nigeria​


Over 100 decomposed and mutilated bodies have been discovered in a suspected illegal organ-harvesting slaughterhouse in Nigeria.

Police have sealed off a hotel and private mortuary in the Umuhu autonomous community in Ngor-Okpala district in southeast Nigeria's Imo state following a raid.

Cops have also searched the suspect's residence and recovered additional evidence, Imo police spokesperson Henry Okoye said on Monday, without providing further details.


In a statement, Okoye said: 'A hotel and a private mortuary owned by the suspect, allegedly used by kidnappers and violent criminals, were inspected.

'At the mortuary, decomposed and mutilated corpses were discovered in unhygienic conditions, raising suspicions of illegal organ-harvesting activities.

Last month, Nigerian gunmen abducted dozens of girls from a boarding school after killing the deputy head teacher, echoing the 2014 Boko Haram kidnappings in Chibok.

The assailants, armed with rifles, attacked the Maga Comprehensive Girls' Secondary School in Danko Wasagu, Kebbi state, at around 4am on November 17.

Absolutely horrible what’s going on in Nigeria.
Boko Haram and Hamas share a common extremist ideology.
Both are Sunni Islamist extremist groups that use violence to achieve their objectives.
Both groups have used tactics such as bombings, kidnappings, and armed assaults.
Thank goodness Jews have a place where they can defend themselves in Israel otherwise they would be getting wiped out just like the Christians in Nigeria.
What’s interesting, the useful idiots don’t care because they can’t demonize the Jews with their hate when it comes to any other conflicts.

I need to dig back into this one, but IIRC this is one of those African "civil wars" where its really hard to tell what the sides are and what is actually being fought over.

Most of these conflicts go back long before there was a Christian population to be killed, and is really just an extension of tribal warfare. some tribes went Christian, and their ancient rivals are killing them. probably doesn't have a lot to do with them actually being Christian; but its a convenient label to grasp in a confusing mess like this war.

yet again if a bunch of Europeans hadn't gotten together and drawn a bunch of arbitrary lines on a map this likely wouldn't be as big of an issue.

What does an illegal organ harvesting scheme have to do with Boko Haram, Hamas, the Fulani, Likud, or the price of eggs in Tajikistan?
