The only thing that sux about this is we already have depth issues as a team and even though he was a bust it isn't helping our depth. Plus, maybe some others coming because of grades.

He won't be the only one.

1. Depends on what you mean by "this."

2. Would you know insight if it bit you on the butt?

Please forgive me if I offended you. I was merely pointing out that there was additional information available on the topic at hand if anyone was interested.

Absolutely no offense whatsoever. I actually would know insight if it bit me (I'd be acutely aware of any bite received).

I wasn't trying to be a jerk either, it just seems that some people cruise the board looking for an opportunity to do what you did. Rather than saying "Hey, there's more info on this topic here," they choose your style.

If all you were doing was offering a hand to the uninformed, my apologies.

Gotcha. Didn't intend to be a pain.

Yesterday's discussion was speculation that this was coming.

No apology necessary.

And I suppose that's CPF's fault?

Yep.....that's on Foolmer.....Kiffin did not recruit him...I love Foolmer for what he did while he was here, but he did not keep up with the other SEC teams...CPF was well compensated foir his time here...GBO!

He watched him, pursued him, offered him and brought him here.

I don't understand this argument. The kid was the #2 rated prepschool recruit in the country. You make it sound like Fulmer lumbered over and picked up a guy nobody wanted.

What's the next argument? Development? Like that shown by Vinson under Kiffin? It's kinda like all those whining about how Fulmer wouldn't put his real (as defined by said whiner) talent on the field, like Chris Donald and Ahmad Paige. Except that when somebody else comes in Vinson is gone, Paige is gone and Donald is still a no show.

Fulmer's gone and I don't have a problem with that. In truth I kinda like Kiffin. That said it baffles me how some people find it nigh impossible to resist the impulse to blame the last coach for something like a player just not getting it done. In fact, the notion seems even sillier when one considers Player X got the chance to shine under a whole new staff...and didn't.

I'm not 100% sure but to my knowledge Vinson asked for his release not too long ago.

He probably should have stayed at receiver. DB requires you to actually hit and tackle, Vinson did neither of those things.
