Vindication

I'm tired of hearing/reading "Well we went to the SEC Championship last year".

Kinda like me bragging about going to the Cheetah Club a few weeks ago. Yeah, I was there but I didn't "go home" with any of the ladies.

How many did UCLA score in the second half?? 20, I believe. Don't think Clawson had to adjust to their offensive scheme do you??

Kraft not throwing pop-flys to our defenders helped their efforts a bit. Our defense played like garbage in the second half. Our offense played like garbage both halves.

Florida, Georgia and Bama fans will have a peaceful sleep tonight. They do not have to worry about the vols anymore...
I'm pretty sure Florida hasn't worried about us since Ron Zook vacated Gainesville.

Acting like it's just one person's fault is ridiculous. They sucked on both sides of the ball in the 2nd half.

Honestly, the Zooker was one terrible officiating job away from having a winning record against Fulmer and beating Phil twice in Neyland. Hell, Fulmer was also extremely fortunate to have had a winning record against Shula.

Scoreboard says they do.

Sorry, but no way that is true. The scoreboard says Chow>Clawson, but there is no way that they have an Eric Berry, Demitrice Morley, or Gerald Jones. They had a third string quarterback for crying out loud, and an o-line that belongs in the WAC conference. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that UCLA is not even on the same planet as UT when it comes to talent.

It would have been one thing if we just underrated UCLA's talent, but they were as bad as advertised. They had so little talent offensively, I felt bad for them.

And a FAT lot of good it did us. Talent IS as talent DOES!

What hurts the most is that I know that everyone around the nation are laughing at us right now.

Exactly, UCLA by no means looked good. It was just Tennessee was really bad.

If I didn't know any better I'd think this is a thread from 2007, post Cal game.

All the statements made tonight by us and Phil almost mirror this time last year.
