“BIG, EXPENSIVE, AND EXPLOSIVE,” it all comes back to this quote for me. The stupidity of this AD is beyond belief if he thinks the Tennessee fan base is going to listen to rhetoric like this and then sit through a press conference introducing Greg Schiano as the savior of UT football

The other candidates I have seen mentioned might turn out just fine (minus Tee Martin, he’ll be learning in the job - Bad idea), but they won’t bring instant swag back to the program like Kiffin would. From my point of view, he is the only candidate that makes all of this mess go away and the positive vibes start flowing again (Winning the east!! Feels like 98!! Etc) fast.

For one thing if Lane was willing to come here into this situation right now......he would be saying a lot, and not even having to say a word.

As a 40 year or so Vol fan, I want you to know.......not everything is like they say in the media and on ESPN. Sure there were some folks saying "greg is a pedophile enabler" & stuff like that; however it was really just the few. As do you guys we have hundreds of thousands of fans..........thousands of us...maybe tens of thousands.....took to social media, took to the campus, and called legislators and staff at Tennessee.......but we never did anything except express our discontent with the hire. We did not think he was the guy of highest integrity as we were told was coming, and he was not even a good fit for Tennessee.

Goold Luck Gator fan.......until we play in basketball or football.

Guys, the OP is a troll. I’m just as pissed as anybody else about the Schiano cluster. I’m referring to the yahoos in here agreeing with the OP.

If he is linking it how does that make us look bad........maybe if we act stupid or say stupid things that would do it?

He may be a huge troll, but when I see a true beggar I don't refuse to give, because he may buy alcohol or drugs........I give and let it go. If I do what is right, it isn't on me if he does what is wrong, with it.

For me it come back to this one "we will be looking for someone of the highest integrity."

We have all heard about the NFL dirty play, and making players make dirty moves.......and other stuff.

That in itself is not "a person of highest integrity."

He wants Bama and FSU to go on probation forever, but is fine with us being good again. He is a Gator fan. From a gator perspective, and taking into account who recently you have owned and who has owned you, why do you think that is?

If he isn’t a troll, the OP is incredibly condescending. There is a bunch of people in here agreeing and thanking him for his sympathy. Gag me.

Hey the Fla game was better when it really did matter. That was always the biggest game going on that Sat. Now not so much. Hey the east may be really tough in 3 years
