How else was he supposed to hit Judy? He was leaned all the way down, moving forward, and leading with his helmet. It was in no way the right call

I'm not saying they should go back and do it over, but I can see why they would be aggravated about the no call.

Yes, and don’t really understand that. That ball clearly went past the line of scrimmage and he was way outside the pocket. It was close to be grounding

The ball has to cross the LOS, but it can do so out of bounds. Heck, it could do so in the 4th row of the bleachers. It this case it was really close, but it was a good no call.

Here it is...

It’s intentional grounding if a QB throws the ball away to avoid a sack or to save time, hasn’t gotten outside the pocket, and doesn’t throw the ball past the line of scrimmage (or the horizontal plane extending out of bounds from it).

Alabama fans…breaking from the stereotype, I had a great time. Was treated great by everyone, lots of good discussion during the game etc. I cheered loudly when the vols did good, sang rocky top etc and no one said a word to me. The one thing that bothered me was one fan told me “we need to put a hit out on 90 for hurting our QB” I replied, “only if we can do the same to the Alabama player that hurt our qb.” The guy said “Good Point” .

Here's an even better point: there is no comparison between a QB injured on a legit tackle while being sacked and a QB injured on a flagrant, seemingly purposeful, late hit well after the ball had left his hand.
