Guys he started to fall down and played it off by kneeling and "getting emotional".

Jk lol

I do love the surprised look on his face when they scored.

My take: he's not crying like everyone assumes. I get so into the game, this game and when I'm coaching little league, that I get these terrible headaches. High blood pressure, I think. I was there yesterday for the game, and 3 or 4 times I almost passed out and got a sudden splitting headache from the rush. The only thing that helped me was to sit and put my head down between my hands like you see butch doing, because my head hurt so bad. Watch when he goes down his hands seem to go to his head like mine do during my temporary headache

Same exact thing happened to me! This Tn team is bad for my well being.

For some strange reason, a Crying head football coach is not attractive, even if it's for my team?

If you cannot see why Butch Jones broke down at the end of that game it might be a good idea for you, and the people "liking" your post, to get checked out psychologically.

He may not have been shedding tears. He may have been thanking almighty God for blessing his team with the win . . . because it was a miracle.

Edit: Full disclosure, although I may criticize at times, I do really like the guy.

Some people hate to see "him" succeed even if it means a UT win. They try to deny it but yet watch their posts.

Just saw replay of The Butch Jones Show. Bob asked about this; Butch replied that he was thanking the good Lord for this moment, for his players, and for the opportunity to coach at the University of Tennessee.

This was IMO a sincere and heartfelt reply. OTOH, most of this thread seems rather shallow.

He loves my Vols. He loves his players. He loves winning. That's as sexy as it gets as far as I'm concerned.

I want him to succeed because it means UT succeeds, but I would like to see it for him also.
Watching him with the guys, hearing former players still talk so well about him. Add in the Bob W. interview (?) on recruiting - "because Butch wants to stay/retire here."
I want to win, and if we can do that with a coach that truly loves the university, you can't really top that.
