My lord that was awful. You cant dispute that they said were callin for exactly what the QB did.

Les is lying in an attempt to cover his ass. Incoming recruits would do well to take notice.

You can just tell he's lying in the interview. Stammering, stuttering, repeating things. Total BS.

For sure. After the game when he was talking to Tracy he was definitely doing that too. People are finally starting to see he's just not that great of a coach without Saban's players, and even then he wasn't that good.

Miles is a stuttering neanderthal jackass. The SEC will be better off when he is gone.

YouTube - Les Miles Calling for Spike and Lying Against Ole Miss 11/21/09

"You should never spike the ball in that situation." What kind of coach not only screws up a crucial situation like this by not having his FG unit ready, not managing the time better in the closing moments of the game but also throws his players under the bus instead of excepting the blame for his actions? Why in the heck would anyone want to play for this lying buffoon?

Good point. See the contrast with CLK, who when Crompton was playing bad earliner this year, he accepted blame by stating that he could call better plays to protect Crompton more. LEADERSHIP!

I agree with you but there's already a post and link like this in the around the ncaa sub-forum.

My bad I didn't see it. With these kids playing their butts off and putting their team in a position to win at the last second, it just pisses me off for a coach to slight the blame off to his players.

Les has claimed that he was motioning to the official that the receiver was down before the OM player came up with the ball. This slow motion video captures him saying "clock it" repeatedly while making the typical clock it motion.

Les Miles: Clock It

Just showed it on ESPN College Football Live. This loss was 100% his fault. He blew it twice by not calling timeout promptly and then by calling for the spike. Him blaming the QB is despicable. UT needs to email that segment to all the recruits for which we and LSU are battling.

Getting your field goal unit on in situations like this is something you practice in the spring and work on throughout the year. This is all on the coach's, no one to blame but themselves.
