Do any of you all have a link to the video highlight of the 60 yard pass that Hendon Hooker threw to Cedric Tillman in the second half of the game against Pitt. This was the one that Tillman dropped and it would have been a touchdown. I just listened to it on radio, so did not get a chance to see it. Just wanted to see the 60 yard pass and also if the drop should have been caught.

I guess technically it was a drop but it actually bounced off his facemask. I'll try to find the video....

(edit) Great minds, well done k-town

The play you are looking for is 1 hour 45 min and 30 seconds into this video.

It would have been caught by every member on this board that runs a 4.5 and can catch with a db pulling on them.
I was upset in real time thinking it should have been caught, then saw the replay and realized Tillman only had one arm available. Definitely should have been PI on that play. Tillman is so good he’s spoiled us fans into thinking he should catch anything in same area code.

If you watch the video, the DB kept Tillman from getting his left hand up in time to catch the ball. That is why the ball hit him in the face mask. Difficult to call that a drop. Really good play by the DB and Tillman had to slow up noticeably before the ball got there.

There is no way that pass should have been dropped

I personally thought that should have been called for a PI. The defender was blocking the laft arm and hand of Tillman and if he didn't then Tillman would have caught the pass and the defender didn't turn his head towards to ball.
I thought the same thing. DB was clearly making contact early.

The DB was holding his left arm down, ball was coming at his helmet. It would have been near impossible to one hand it. Should have been PI.
