Where there is a middle man there is always money left on the table. I guess those wishing to avoid the hassle could say they are "paying" the third party to sell the games for them.

I'm all about maximizing my return on my used games - eBay/craigslist all the way.

It won't last long if you get caught but I had success before hanging out at GameStop and finding people buying games I had that I wanted to get rid of. I'd talk to them and sell it to them for less than GameStop would sell yet I'd make more than GameStop would give me.

I've sold a good 10 games that way, but you have to be a bit discrete about it obviously.

That's a pretty good idea. I wonder what they would do if you got caught? Probably just ask you to leave.

More than likely just ask you stop and if you didn't, yeah ask you to leave. I've never been "caught" though one clerk once seemed like he was on to me on what I was doing; especially since the one guy had a copy of Halo 4 in his hand and was about to go to the counter and suddenly didn't want it anymore. However, I doubt that particular guy would have done anything, as he was about to quit and is one of those guys that will tell you how crappy a corporation GameStop is.
