I haven't played NCAA football in 7 years probably.
Does everyone remember the ratings they would give players?
Scale of 40-99?

5 star recruits usually came in at an 80.

D4H in my opinion Kmac came in at a 78. Danny Obrien was maybe a 82 as 4th year Junior.

Now Kmac is at an 86. Obrien is also at an 86 as a 5th year SR.
Obrien might leave as an 88 tops
Kmac could push to 90 by seasons end.

Vickers is an 87.
Tuttle was at an 84 when he got injured. Went down to 50. Now hes back to 80. By the end of the year he could be an 87.
A Johnson is probably a 76.
Piccou 76
Bain 70

This is the best way I could illustrate your Kmac question/worry.

KMAC 95

If both of those things happen, then it will be definitely time to reevaluate the program in its entirety.

Because Mark Hunt is no longer the coach and they have a Lot of talent on that roster. Road game after a big win against UF, possible let down. Smart knows that Georgia is critical for UT to recruit and he wants to shut the door on Butch(build the fence).
