Vic, wish you the best in life, young man. Settle in with UCal and do your best; hopefully good things will come to you for the focused effort. Thanks for all your contributions in 2014, both on and off field.

p.s. Was just re-watching the 2014 Mizzou game tape last night ... Vic had an awesome 1-yard-line punt cover in the first half. I mean, tightrope walking good coverage. One of his several noteworthy contributions to the team.

More importantly, he has quit more times than us.

Because he actually had the opportunity to join the team. We have not. We haven't quit as fans, but I'm sure if you were a star high school player that was promised early playing time, you might transfer too.

I just don't understand why people insist on making jokes out of a transfer. If it were your kid transferring, would you laugh? No, then you would understand all of a sudden.

Playing time is like money to Vic right now.

So, if you were unhappy at your current job, and had the opportunity to take a new job where you'd earn more money, would you stay at your current job?

Not going from an A squad to a B squad for more time. Hell, go to some division III program and ball out if that is how you see it.

he cant play til 2016 anyway. Its not like hes taking some quick route to playing time.

point still stands that its his 5th school in 6 years. This is just how the kid is.

There is no way he was promised early playing time. The UT staff didn't do that for Josh Malone, there is no way they would have done that for Wharton.
