You are dead on! Every Vol fan should ignore tallvolball98. Problem with these types they slime into another name! Probably a bammer or gator fan is my guess!

Sometimes it's so much easier to see what should happen from an outside perspective. Vic should stay here and work his butt off. He was a true freshman this year for crying out loud. Hes competing with a guy that's had three more years than him and us a great athlete to begin with (pig). If vic were to transfer he'd completely have to start over. Butch isn't going to offer a release another big time program. So he'd probably end up going to Juco for an year then transferring back to a big program and completely starting from scratch. If he just were to stay here he'd be in much better shape. And who knows... The guy ahead of him him could suffer an injury during fall camp next year making him the man (hopefully not obviously).
But anyway you slice it he's better off staying. I think this is the case for most of these guys. The longer they stay in a system the better prepared they are going to be.
Of course this is all assuming it's simply a matter of playing time. There could obviously be other circumstances. Hope he sticks it out.
He was one of my favorite recruiter I can remember. And regardless of what's happened recently he loves tn and this is where he wanted to be.

I used to play hoops with Jeff Smith at sandy springs park back in the late 80's and early 90's. Always a great guy and you.would never know his athletic accomplishments unless you knew who he was. Big dude, not a bad hoops player.

You're full of it. Coach just pushes them extremely hard to make them be the best. Some players appreciate that and accept the challenge of playing big time college football, and some don't want to be pushed.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to tell you where, but I promised Butch Jones uncle, Indiana Jones I would never reveal their location. Sorry guys and gals.

Jalen has never once said a bad thing about Jones behind closed doors to anyone close to him nor have any of the other leaders.

Yes, some kids who thought they deserved more playing time or felt that were being overlooked might be unhappy with Jones but that is life.

Jones expects the best out of players and will be more than happy to recruit over a kid who isn't giving his all or understands its a team game and not all about the individual.

Very well stated. They sure looked like they hated him celebrating the bowl win. Hugging all over him. And he definitely looked like he froze them out. Pic please of it. I know someone has it
