The difference between someone who is trolling vs someone who is recounting actual conversations is very easy to detect. A troll will never cite a specific source or tell you when and where they 'heard' their information. Someone who is telling the truth would never have a problem with that especially under the veil of anonymity.
Example: I recently spoke with a player from our 1985 SEC championship team who had glowing things to say about Fulmer and not such nice things to say about Majors. He was Jeff Smith TE and I sat next to him at the bar at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Maryville during the Ohio State vs Oregon game on January 12th. He scored the first TD vs Miami and took a bow right afterward (we talked about that as well). I bought him a shot of Jager and had a great time talking to a key player from my all time favorite Tennessee team. He told me that he still keeps in touch with Eric Swanson (he called Swanny) and many other players from that team.
I have no trouble recalling the details of this because it is the truth..tallvolball98 will never mention a specific name of who told him these negative things about Butch Jones because he is simply making it up and is likely the fan of another team trolling VN.

He is pompous. He belittles. He is inaccessible. He has short man syndrome. He doesn't have good communication with anyone. With recruits he gets ya with snake oil then has nothing to do with you once they get here. Just what I have heard.
From what I hear NO ONE Likes Butch. Coaches, players, trainers, nor staff. And the VFL's too. Hell his wife doesn't even like him. Bob is always on the mark!
Very well stated. They sure looked like they hated him celebrating the bowl win. Hugging all over him. And he definitely looked like he froze them out. Pic please of it. I know someone has itThe players do not hate Butch and anyone saying so is a liar.
Jalen has never once said a bad thing about Jones behind closed doors to anyone close to him nor have any of the other leaders.
Yes, some kids who thought they deserved more playing time or felt that were being overlooked might be unhappy with Jones but that is life.
Jones expects the best out of players and will be more than happy to recruit over a kid who isn't giving his all or understands its a team game and not all about the individual.
This crap with all the players hating him is garbage.
