Since Coates went down for South Carolina, Davis has stepped up and played like the All-American many thought she would be. If she continues tomorrow, they have an excellent chance to make it two SEC teams in the Final Four. Just like the good old days.

Congrats to MSU, easy team to root for. And yes, coaching matters...
Let there be no mistake about it, there is a direct correlation in the decline of A&M basketball and Vic taking the MSU job that has nothing to do with the aggys change of conferences...Vic can flat out coach. It remains to be seen if he can recruit at an elite level (or if he even needs to).

Can you please give it a damn break?!?!

Excuse me Mrs. Warlick, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings talking about the ineptitude of your daughter. I know the truth can be painful. I will take your feelings into consideration in the future. However, up to this point, your daughter SUCKS as a coach.

Like I said. Really unfortunate they lost Coates. With her, and this Kaela Davis they might have given UConn a test....

I think they'd really miss Coates's defense and rebounding in a rematch with UConn, but Davis seems to have so much more room to operate offensively with Coates out. She just looks more comfortable and in rhythm in a way I haven't really seen her all year.

I think Stanford is the only team that can really have a chance to beat Uconn. They always give them fits for some reason. Do not let Uconn get a quick lead on you and take care of the ball. Do this and you might have a chance.

Oof, just the thought of ESPN rambling for 2 hours straight about the Samuelson sisters and how torn their parents/sister Bonnie must be has me preemptively muting the game.

I have always thought South Carolina has great chance to beat UConn.... I think that will be the final game...

I mean for real. Got on my last nerve!

Now this goes to show how much I know, but I thought Baylor might be the one to beat Uconn, then I witnessed the beat down Mississippi State put on them and my goodness - Morgan William! Whew! 🙌🏻

Then...I saw Uconn basically slaughter Florida State in the first five minutes last night...geez! As Amb said (I think it was Amb) they are like a well oiled machine! That game got out of hand QUICK. 😳

Seeing SC play so well without two of their best players last night has me thinking it could be them..but...might it be MSU who can take down Uconn? Can anybody? 😔

DANG!!! 😯

I still think UConn can be beat. They don't have a Stewart-type player who is a matchup nightmare and can will her team to victory. Katie Lou lives and dies by the three, and sometimes shooters get cold like FSU's Romero did last night. Collier and Williams play with heart, but they are still undersized. Their backcourt has average speed.

If MSU can find a way to get the ball in to McCowan and she can make good decisions, I think MSU can challenge them, provided they hit open perimeter shots. They will probably need Vivians to really harass Katie Lou and not give up too many offensive rebounds to have a shot to win.

As good as they've been, this is the year to beat UConn, because no one is beating them for the next two years.

It was a very 'Green' Oregon team that got destroyed the first 5mins of the game, it was over. I think the only team that may have a chance to beat Uconn will be Stanford. Stanford has Erica McCall and the other Samuelsson and a great coach in Vandeever. The only way anyone has a chance against Uconn is to not let them shoot the 3 on you early and to take care of the ball. Do that and you might have a chance. If they get by 5 or 8 on you it's too late .

Because his kids listen to their coach and play with heart. He had to bench 4 starters before SEC tourney to get their attention. That point guard is amazing.

Don't know if you watched that game? One of the announcers said Vic spent a lot of time at UConn with Geno getting a lot of pointers. That 50+ point loss made a impression. One of those pointers was to bench players who won't play up their potential or have a bad attitude..

I'd bet my savings Holly would never attend to learn something. In case anyone wants to take me up on the bet you got to cover about $11 LOL
