One time some guy ran for... oh 200 yards or so against some SEC team about this time of year(my bad December) a few years back. You remember that? Can't quite remember the name of the other team though. Seems like I remember too that they said something really complimentary to you before the game also, but my memory may be a little foggy on that one too :). (Fulmer's speech that was posted on here took me back) I had wanted UT to beat Florida more than anything and I was 17. One of my favorite wins as a fan BY FAR. I am still grateful for that one. Couldn't afford a ticket to that game but I will be at the UT Florida game for the first time in my life cheering my lungs out for this W. Here is to hoping someone nuts up and has a UT GOAT game like that one that still lives in my memory from 15 years ago. Cheers.

That game was played in December due to the 9/11 attacks.

This is one of my favorite games ever. It put us in the title game if we could beat Satan at lsu.
TS killed uf with his running style. His ability to hit the gap and accelerate to full speed before the secondary, crazy fast. Hardest runner ever at ut. He had a good line too.

Travis should talk to the team. He knows what it takes to beat the gators

I know this is asking a lot, but could you detail what went into Florida week as player? What was practice like that week? Attitude among players? Coaches? Game day walk through....

As a fan this is something we can only speculate.

I was there.

I also remember Spurrier's interview after the game. He said "Don't pay attention to the scoreboard. They whipped us a lot worse than that".

VFL34 you were truly unstoppable that night. A running back that would not be denied said Fulmer. I would feel a lot better if we had you and Casey Clausen running the offense on Saturday.. is the Florida game the most memorable of your career?

I turned 17 the next day in 2001... My first Florida/UT game was the Wilhoit Kick. Could be a good omen!

That is one of the top two highlights I watch regularly on YouTube during off season. The other is Peyton at Alabama.

I never got to watch this game or many other games that season. My ship deployed after 9/11 so I only caught details of that season long after the games had been played. Finding out that the Vols had beaten the Gators made a tough time just a little bit better.

In fact I got a better use for this thread, do you hang with Jabari 34? If you do you need to get his ass over here because that dude is cool as hell and we need more folks over here fighting the negavols. I can't do it on my own. Peaces.
