This is the reason that Butch doesn't need a raise or extension. I don't want to put too much pressure on next season but if Butch can't beat FL then he's not the man for the job.

Probably, and I'm sure that he knows UT hasn't beat them in the last 11 regardless of who's playing QB for them.

He probably knows that any qb is qb enough to beat Tennessee. That's the way it's been.

Hopefully Butch pulls his head outta his arse next year and does what he should've done the last two years.

If not, Butch may never beat them. Tennessee will eventually, but he keeps losing to Florida and he won't be around.

He's an EE also. Still pushing for Haskins. If Eason sticks they'll push for Trevor Knight.

Grier is set to meet with staff before break. If he's back they'll roll with Harris and DelRio for 6 games. At worst UF will be 4-2 heading into his return. Still time to left to win east.

You'd rather lose in blowouts 37-63 and 29-35 than 9-10 and 27-28?

We were #1 in '96 when Florida was up 35-7 at the half.

To be fair, no Tennessee coach has done ish vs Florida since Bill Battle....Majors, Fulmer, Kiffen, Dooley and now Jones. None of them have done much of anything vs the Gators.

florida did well in 2015 because they beat us, if we had beat them they would not have had the season they did.

I think we'll field the best team in the east in 2016. But the fact is, UF is as much of a contender for the east as we are next year, and until I see otherwise, I have to assume that they'll win the head to head. We'll be probably a bit better, at home, with an edge at QB, but the sad truth is that none of that seems to matter when we play UF. So in that respect, I wouldn't disagree with anyone who puts UF as the favorite to win the east next year. We'll see.
