Jabari admits to being more emotional about this win than his own 3 wins vs Bama. Simply amazing what this game has done for our fan base, including all former players!

Idk because I never played but what he said about knowing they’re smoking cigars in your stadium is a different type of feeling.

Jabari also emphasized that back then they expected to beat Bama every time (we were the powerhouse back then so it was not such a big deal to beat them). Would be good for many of our younger fans to watch this video (especially fun after this particular game) to get further perspective of what UT football expectations used to be (this topic came up so much over last 10 years or so on the forums where younger fans seemed to have lowered expectations for Vols football simply because they have not seen Vols ever beat Bama and very seldomly Georgia, and/or Florida). Finally we are back to re-establishing the traditional SEC world order!
