Auburn was able to make that run when Vescovi was out.
If you can get any positive feedback from the game , it would be the next time Vescovi is in foul trouble .. Barnes will probably change up things to keep momentum going. That was the first time we’ve been in that situation .

Vescovi wasn't even good in that game and we had our best stretch with him out so I'm not completely buying into this. But of course we will never know how he would have performed during that stretch.

It’s very hit or miss how our guys play without him. I think we would have played better with him in the game

It's very simple. We don't have depth.i mentioned it earlier that we rely way too much on our first 5.our bench scored 11 points theirs scored 26. They got 65 minutes from their bench we got 52. A bigger thing was we got 23 mins from Fulkerson and 18 from Vescovi. When the guys playing behind them are forced to play that's when we struggle. These turnovers are ridiculous but they are partly because of the heavy minutes our first 5 have to play. These guys have to be tired but maybe it's good for next season they can work on conditioning more in the off-season and if the incoming freshmen can live up to their billing and at worst be solid off the bench and Plasvic can get a clue in the off-season we will be scary next year.

The team played worse with Fulkerson in the game for whatever reason so he was no impact today in a positive way.

Depth is an issue and we are really challenged at point guard. Vescovi does an above average job running the point, but other than JJJ, we don't have anyone who can run the point on this team.

Question is can Springer run this team next year. If he can we our SEC Champions next year. Adding Springer Johnson and Bailey who is a wildcard and only losing Bowden I like our options at the three guard positions.

Seems like we'll have 4 combo guards next year who are probably better at the SG (or the SF in JJJ's case) spot than the PG. I won't be surprised if Bailey is the primary PG with Santiago or JJJ filling in. Bailey at the PG allows TN to rotate SV, JJJ, Springer, Keon, Gaines, and possibly Pember and JJ on the wings.

Springer loves running a team and loves assists. He is more explosive and Athletic than JJJ and Vescovi. If Bailey has a good handle that will be sweet. I have not heard much about him from Practice so I don't know what to expect from him.

Have to say Bowden was the key that we were even in the game. If he had played as he has in the past, it would have been ugly to say the least. This is the Bowden we all expected at the first of the season and was great to see him come out of the slump, if only for this game. Oh if everyone had been hitting on all cylinders for the entire game.

Very possible. It's not good to have foul trouble to the point that someone on a thin team is not available for that length of time.
