Right now the American Conference champion looks to be the highest ranked conference champ outside the power 4 so they will get one of the 12 slots…Memphis, Navy, USF…not sure who it will be be but in reality it’s taking a slot away from a power 4 team…there’s a good chance we’ll have a team outside the top 25 in the 12 team playoff
