and the one winning season was a robust 7-6.

This past season record wise went just about how I thought it would. I see next season going MUCH better and I can't wait.

1.We'll finally have some decent depth at almost every position.

2.Our average age and experience will go up quite a bit with a small senior group departing.

3. I have confidence Dave Hart will open the purse a bit wider so Dooley can get a great DC in here.

4. Offense looked beast mode before Hunter went down. Hearing he's on track to be full speed by spring.

We all knew going in to last year that '12 was our year. I still think it is. The sad thing that reading this board has taught me is, if we win 9 or more games, some of you will be pissed because we'll keep Dooley. Here's hoping your pissed.

Here's what I think would really get me amped up for this season (Not that I truly require anything, I'm always up for football)

1. Hire either Randy Shannon or Kevin Steele as DC, and find some way to get Billy Napier on staff.

2. Keep this recruiting class intact, as well as add McCullers and one of Shanks/Kirven.

3. Have an injury free spring practice.

4. Have Bray completely healed, and Justin Hunter completely healed.

5. Have all of those EE's knowing the system QUICKLY, and contributing by the fall.


All of those things happen, I'm going to change my name to TNExtremelyHopeful.

I am going to be optimistic for 2012. I think this year our players and coaches grew up some.

I think Dooley will find some good coaches to replace the 2 lost and they'll shore up our recruting and we may get some good suprises.

we are going to be hungry when we come back for winter practices and I think bray and Rogers will have grown leaps and bounds ( if they're still on the team).

I'm going into sheep mode and I'm going to believe one more year.

Florida isn't going to be very good next year, we'll be better and have them at home. We could win that game next year. Mississippi State is a tossup...Missouri is a tossup...and please, we're beating Vanderbilt, they're going to be losing a lot of players. we're going 8-4 at least.
