As a college football coach, his resume is dramatically better than yours as an associate a law firm, period.

Making statements about what the new coach "did not" say in his first presser and then labeling the thread with "Very disturbing" is pretty silly imo.

Well the way I see it, if you are a UT fan you should support your team (yes that includes the coach). If down the road he does not get the job done, then you can call for his head!...jmo

I for one would like to hear him utter championship or somehow elude to it since we ran his predecessor off who won the SEC EAST in 07.

Not to mention 5Ws at Oakland in 1.25 seasons is roughly equal to >9 wins in a season in the NCAA.

He really wasn't kidding at all when he called Oakland entirely dysfunctional.

Give the guy a break! You couldn't even give him 24 hrs before you started crucifying him. He will be fine, the VOLS will do fine and in 2 yrs.....your comments will be irrelevant!

Can we give the guy a chance 1st??? He went to USC when they were 6-6. I am not sure, but did all of these other coaches that win, tressell, myer, saban, promise a title in their 1st press conference? Kiffin knows it won't come overnight so he is not guaranteeing anything, but if you don't think he is trying to win the sec you got another thing coming. I am not even sure Bruce Pearl guaranteed a title... He said we plan to make Kentucky a rivalry again..... Hell Kiffin said he couldnt wait to sing rocky top after we beat florida... To me, he seems confident not cocky. The championships will come... give him time.

I knew you would eventually try that crap, but Carroll stated, specifically, that Kiffin designed the offense they still use as well as calling the plays.... in addition to building the recruiting base that USC now enjoys...



Did you even watch the Press Conference? Or do you just see that as mindless pollywaggle.

Conveniently disregarding Carroll stating multiple times, most recently yesterday, that Kiffin was the primary playcaller during his time as the coordinator at SC. No need to let facts get in the way of your typically uninformed drivel.
