do you have evidence to support your theory? he might win championships, he might not. just didn't know you could predict the future or had such great insight

personally i think it will take kiffin several years to get used to the college game as a head coach and by that time fans will be even more fed up with the football team

Think you're reading into this one a bit much. There are a lot of things I wish he'd said:

1. Free football tickets for every TN-born VOL fan who wants them.
2. Beer at Neyland - lots of it.
3. Everyone is getting exactly what they want for Christmas.
4. People need to stop whining about the HC hire.
5. My wife has a bunch of hot single friends I'd like to introduce you to.

Haven't we had enough negativity for the last fewe years? What would you want him to say at his first PC that would make you feel better about it? At this point, whether you wanted him or not, he is our new coach and as Vol fans we should give him our full support. Go Vols!

i think most people can agree that coach kiffIn is going to be great. Those that dont well, they are what i like to call the "vol old lights" they are looking to the past, and then, they would rather talk about how great it WAS back in the day rather then how GREAT its going to be real soon. These people are almost starting to sound like GA fans when refering to Hershel Walker, and yet cant even give their QB's name......

Dude, with the way we played ALL season long (with mostly the same players we had last year) I dont see ANY coach walking into their first press conference and announcing to the world that we are going to win the SEC and NC next year....What he has already said is he doesnt think he needs to "rebuild" after all we had the same players from last year....that went to the SEC CG...and FYI he did say we will win here...and we have everything in place to win here...players, facilities, etc...
