Like a racing horse with bum leg...will somebody please put Vern Lundquist out of OUR misery. I know it has repeatedly been said, but he has officially gone off the reservation. He has absolutely no idea of what is going on or where he is at. Can CBS not replace him instead of making SEC football fans listen to him every 3:30 on Saturdays? They have to know that he has lost his ability to announce a football game.

According to him, leading by seven is equivalent to hanging in the there with the almighty Gators. That must be the ultimate moral victory. Somebody save us.

Verne thought that td by Ark should have been called an incomplete pass when he ran the ball 50 yards downfield, what was that all about? And the officiating is terrible, two back to back outrageous penalties, wow...

Did you hear on the replay of the Hogs TD where they questioned the fumble. He said, "Then what's the call? Incomplete pass? Geez Loouise.

I heard that too. The other announcer was like "no because he ran all that way..." I also think these penalties are flat out ridiculous. The referees gave them that touchdown.

Worst officiating in history. Blatant homerism.

Lundquist: "He dropped it at the goal line, that is an incomplete pass then right?" Talking about Childs long TD catch.

LOL I was thinks the same thing.

What about the high snap,James fumble... You know, the one TEBOW had nothing to do with even though HE was the one that never actually caught the snap. But you would have thought Teblow was on the sideline on that play....

I agree with all of you. My girlfriend said she was scared at how mad I was watching that game. I absolutely lost it when Lundquist thought it was an incomplete pass. He needs to start paying attention to what's going on on the field. Also, while it's true Slive wants #1 vs #2 in the sec championship game to ensure the SEC makes the nat'l championship game, I think he'd be just as content to have any other high profile sec team (VOLS, puppydawgs, LSU) in that game. The calls will start going our way as this staff continues to turn the program around. Alabama wasn't getting the calls before Satan got there. You don't get the calls when your head coach wear's a gold chain. GBO.

...dumbest damn comment I have ever heard from a football commentator. My son, a friend of his and myself just looked at each other and almost in unison said WFT did he just say?

No Petrino fan here, but did Arky get the purple weiner on that last drive or what, the personal foul was horrible and the interference call was extremely ?????

Even damn called those BS, even though he too is a worshiper at the feet of UM and Tebow.

Huge calls that impact the SEC, BCS, and possibly the NC.

No excuses.

I think this officiating crew was protecting UF and giving them the calls to avoid the upset.... very bad officiating.... I wonder if coaches ever get in the face of refs after the games and call them on the BS calls.....

I just hope that Vergne is replaced. He is beyond terrible. All he is good for is his little catch phrase and he tries at every opportunity to use it. They need to replace him for next year. I will give Danielson credit. He sounded angry at that bogus penalty on arky lineman. He said something close to "it is no worse than what Tebow does when he celebrates a first down run". For the record, the call was just as bogus as the pass interference on the Arky DB.

You must have at least 75 YAC for it to be a complete pass.... 50 yards is not an acceptable catch....

I think we send CBS an e-mail to go and get Ron Franklin out of his Alaska football coverage forced by ESPN and don't let him to continue to waste away. He and Danielson would be a great booth for CBS. Send Vergne to the Masters permantely.

Vern should stick to golf it's slow enough for him to call effectively. This has been coming on for at least 4 years. I've been saying it since 2004 and 2005. I'm sick of him saying "how do you do" 20x a game!
