Venzell Boulware transferring to Miami

Yeah this one surprises me a little. I would've thought Boulware would've really benefitted from the new staff coming in. Anyway, its all about fits and I guess he just doesn't "jive" with the new staff.

He had already left school to my understanding. I doubt there was any attempts at "jiving" at all.

If you haven't ever tried a genuine Cuban restaurant, you might open your palate. Nothing like a good meal to alter your opinion of another's national origin.

Man...you got that right. I still miss a good cafe con leche from a little Cuban sandwich shop I frequented when I was still living in Florida. One of those along with an empanada or two made for a great lunch.

he did quit on the team halfway thru the season. You can blame Botch for some of that, but it was still his decision to leave early.

Stop blaming these players leaving on the former coach.

Pruitt and company should have been focusing on the players on the team as well as the recruits. This is number 4 based on my count.

If your counting players that left for the draft, that doesn’t really count. The 3 that declares can get paid next year, even if it’s leave minimum. I’m sure 400k + sounds better to them than a program rebuild. They were prob gone either way. Gaulden is a real talent and someone will get a later round deal on Kelly. Although I’m not a Mack fan, given his dad he knows more than me or you combined about whether he should have declared or not. These kids were gone either way. I’m sure you’ll find something else to be negative about.

Guess the players are finally realizing ol' Butch Jones is not the coach anymore. Too serious I guess for Boulware to take now so he splits. We are better off without this quitter.

Good landing spot for him as a grad transfer. He should do well there.

Article I read said he graduated in 3 years. Also was telling games he started and said he would have started Music City Bowl but he was academically ineligible. So he had academic problems but graduated in 3 years.:ermm:

Never bought into the Butch program and turned his back on the team! No excuse! Don't want him and any other player that cannot get on the Pruitt train. I hope we lose a few more players over the next several months, regardless of star rankings. That will tell me he is getting rid of the deadwood as I am sure there are a few more on this team!
