I leave for Vegas tomorrow for my bachelor party, first time in Vegas too. Any "must-do" advice, excluding the obvious unmentionables...??? :run:

must win money

then don't play!

Advice for a bach party in Vegas? Don't get too caught up in gambling. Go find a good pool for sight-seeing. We wound up at the Hard Rock pool once and had a great day in the sun/sand.

Also, keep your buddies from blowing all their cash. I know it sounds stupid but I knew more than 1 guy who had to go home and explain a much smaller bank account to the wife. They'll thank you later.

Based on the smilie you added, I'm sure you have the rest of the entertainment covered. :good!:

This time of year, my main recommendation would be to stay hydrated.

I'm not kidding.

My next top ten advice:

2. If your room sucks, don't worry about it as you will not spend any time in it.
3. If you want to meet women, stay away from the older hotels and casinos, especially downtown.
4. Do not, under any circumstances, even take the handouts for the escort services. You will see a zillion people on the streets handing these things out. If you let them put even one in your hand, the rest will descend on you like locusts.
5. Don't feel like a man and decide you have to walk everywhere. If its more than a mile in this heat, take a cab.
6. Avoid gambling alongside your friends who claim to have the numbers down pat, i.e. the guy who can cut the house edge in blackjack to 2 percent. The reason is that cutting the house advantage down like that works only if you play 10,000 hands, and you aren't there to do that. Admit that you are hoping lightning strikes and take some chances.
7. Assume that you will lose everything you go with.
8. Don't take your ATM card with you.
9. Most of the liquor they give you for free is cheap. And you will feel it in the morning, for sure. If you are going to go on a binge, pay for the drinks.
10. Nothing out there is really free. Nothing.

Just go and have fun.

Since it's your first time, it will be overwhelming.
Set a limit for how much your willing to gamble each day, and take utvolpj's advice and visit the pool at the Hard Rock and Ceaser's palace, their awesome..

Try out the Spearmint Rhino...

Hoover Damn & Meade Lake are great to see for the first time.

I think Vegas is about 4 hrs from the Grand Canyon if you've never been there its worth the trip.

JDriving or walking down the main strip sounds lame but checking out all the hotels is amazing.

Hard Rock Cafe as already mentioned is usually overflowing with gorgeous women as a lot of places in Vegas.

What's that joint in Vegas with the $1 hotdogs that are the size of newborn babies? I saw it on Travel Channel.

11. Avoid the potato salad at the $2.99 GamblingManBuffet.
