I am going to Las Vegas next week. If you were going, would you put something down at the sports book, (on the Vols) and what would you do?

Edit: The total point over/under is 45.5 I believe.. They are thinking defensive battle? And I am not a big gambler. I actually don't believe in betting on anything with a brain, but for some reason this is interesting to me. I was thinking of putting something on NU so that if we lose I will have some consolation.

Bowl games are usually high scoring. Maybe go with the over.

Take Tennessee and give the points. This will be a repeat of the Iowa game. Lots of fun to be had besides gambling. Go to any nightclub and you won't leave alone

I would advise to bet at one of the Station Casinos. I prefer Southpoint or M Resort mainly because they're both in my neighborhood.

I doubt seriously that zi will put down anything. It's just a 11 hour layover. I was.just curious about what all the VN gamblers are thinking about the game vis-a-vis Vegas.

My layover is near Bally's. I think their sports book is pretty big isn't it?

If you can get over to the Westgate they have a great sports book. If you wanna drop some big money go check out the one at the Wynn. Check out the odds at different places cause there may be a slight difference.

Good luck gambling and remember the really pretty girls sitting alone at the bar aren't there to just hook up... Well unless you got a few hundred to pay them.

Take some of those handout cards from one group of Hispanics and then try to give them away to the next group of Hispanics

As long as it is money you can afford to lose, have fun.

I am sure it is. I've been in there, but didn't check out the sports book.

If it is not, Bellagio and Caesars are right across the street. I can attest that they have sufficiently sized sports books.

Bet on Tennessee to cover the spread. Northwestern is no where close to the Vols talent wise. There are 3 Tennessee games that I really wanted to bet on on the last 3 years: The Utah State game where the line was only 3 or 4, and the Kentucky Game this year, and the Alabama game this year. I guessed they were very likely wins if you bet the Vols on the spread. I would at least consider betting on this one because of the close line and talent differential between the two teams.

Bally's is on the strip. It's a pit.
Walk across the street to the book at Caesars.

Do a 15 team $10 parlay for the NFL. Worst thing you're only out $10 but if you win (not likely) it pays about 1500-1. It does happen from time to time. See it about once or twice a year. Last year a guy won 450k on it and the station casinos had a thing going if you could go 20-20 in a weekend it was a cool million dollars

Isn't it funny how a group of fans (Vols included) say one thing when asked for a prediction, but when asked to put their money where their mouth is (expert opinion), they suddenly become, well let's just say, not quite as sure of themselves!:hi::clap:

How much do you have riding on the game?
