Vegas And The Cincy Game

A 4-8 Big East team hung 72 points on a team that has only had 18 winning seasons in 74 years. What if we had hung 72 points-- or even 60-- on a far better team? What if we had aired it out when Montana kept stacking the box and let Hunter and Da'Rick take a few more to the checkerboards? What if we had kicked those FGs instead of giving it up on downs? What if we hadn't let a true freshman-- #4 on the depth chart-- try to take it in from the 1 on one of his first plays?

Vols by 10. If we lose here, before even facing an SEC team, there is little improvement--continuous or otherwise.

I don't care what the spread is or turns out to be, just want the W! Could be 3 to 2 UT for all I care.

I went back and read the thread.. actually it was supposed to read -110, which is the juice or vig in betting terms... basically in a straight bet, the bookie will take a percentage (in this case) it is 10%.. so you would bet straight up, $110 to win 100. If you win you get you juice back.. so your pay out would be $210...

The Vols are 3-0 against the spread as single digit home favorites under Dooley. Cinci is 0-4 against the spread as road dogs under Davis. I plan on taking UT to cover.

And yes the over/under was 53 last i checked.

But at the end of the day, all that matters is the Vols getting the W. GBO!!!

Austin Peay rushed for I think 127 yards. I feel that we are better than Austin Peay in the running game. this will not be as close as some think.

Someone has to win against the spread. The guy on Volquest who uses the stats to say we win but don't cover in order to satisfy all of the Vegas trends makes no sense.

I can. We win by 21.

The only way we win by less than 21 is to have fumblitis and lose at least 3 takeaways, or more. This game is NOT going to be that close. Dooley is not going to take his foot off the gas until we have a comfortable lead. After we get the big lead then we'll give our offense more running game practice for the Gators.:good!:
