Vaping

I have been vaping for a few years now and have been through plenty of rigs. My Mutation X V4 shorted out and murdered my X Cube II recently. I replaced it with a Cuboid 150 and a Tsunami RDA. I have been running this setup for a little over two months now and I love it. Just throwing it out there in case anyone is reading this thread looking for rig advice. As far as tanks go, I'm not too fond tanks. Out of the tanks I have my SuperTank is my favorite with an Atlantis coil installed.

Juice.....Check out Plume Juice from Vape Caviar

How long do you wait to change your coil? I run mine on 38W and change it weekly. Juice that I've been addicted to is THE Milkman "Milky O'S" & Strawberry Shortcake by "The Propaganda"

I run at 68W and burn them off once a week and they last for months. I change cotton 2 to 3 times a week. I just remove the old cotton and bump the fire button until the coils glow bright red and then dip them in water. I do that a few times and the coils look like new. Of course, this is for my RDA only.

I rarely change tank coils since I don't use a tank very often.

Yes it is a great case. It was a spare battery that exploded that was not even hooked up

So your client had a lose IMR battery blow up in his pocket? Wouldn't that be user error? You'd have to be pretty dumb to carry one of those around without protection. If anything metal (keys, lose change) touches both ends of the battery at the same time, it will short out, probably vent, and possibly explode. That's like someone carrying a pistol in their pants with no holster and it blows the guy's dick off.

Have these new vaping laws affected anyone yet?

They are about to turn the industry upside down. Starting August 8th, there will be a market freeze in which absolutely 0 NEW products will be introduced into the market. That's juice, mods, tanks, drippers, drip tips, coils, everything. Each manufacturer of ANY kind of vape product will be required to send in an application for FDA approval for EVERY ONE of their products they intend to continue selling. Each of these applications is anticipated to cost at least $100,000 - and other estimates are as high as $1M.

There were 499 pages of legislation handed down back in May, and if you read through them all, you will see that the regulations will, most likely, wipe out the vapor industry by the end of 2018.

Good.

Why? This is one thing in the world that is actually dramatically helping people. Tobacco sales have been on a steady decline since 2007 and kid usage has also dropped substantially. People are improving their health and saving money by vaping instead of smoking. There was a huge Master Settlement back in 1998 with big tobacco and 46 states. Big tobacco pays almost every state through bonds. But since tobacco sales have dropped so dramatically, the system got all messed up because the states were spending the money faster than they were receving it.

It's all a scam no matter how you look at it. If you question the health risks, no one is claiming vaping is 100% safe, but credible sources claim it's up to 95% less detrimental to your body than smoking. So there's a huge double standard there in which tobacco products, things we KNOW 100% cause cancer, are allowed to be on the market and reasonably regulated. It doesn't make sense to ban them on that merit.

I never would have pegged you as someone that would be offended by something like vaping.

My setup right now is a sigelei 150, tfv4 with quad coils. Got some strawberry cheesecake juice from casey jones mainline reserve, awesome stuff. Btw, its like $27 for a 120ml bottle. Awesome high vg juice at a great price.

They specifically warned me not to carry battery in pocket. The loose change or keys touching the contacts could burn skin or possibly explode. Knoxville Vapor has some good people working there. They offer 10% off for military as well.

My unit is the Kanger Tech Subox Mini. Battery is the 18650 3000mAh that lasts all day. My juice preference is Havana Nights.

I'm not offended. But those "flavors" are aimed at younger folks. It's no different than big tobacco with the cartoon Joe Camel. Just trying to make it cool for the younger generation.

Most stores don't allow kids under 18 in the store or won't sell to kids under 18. To me, It's just like porn. It's for adults but kids will always find a way to get it.

I don't smoke myself but a friend of mine does and he recently switched from regular cigarettes to American Spirit. It claims to be 100% additive free, natural tobacco. He claims he feels so much better since switching. Anyone else had a similar experience? I realize this is a vaping thread but I thought I'd ask anyway.

So youd rather them just smoke cigarettes? Because thats whats going to happen

Just picked up the tfv8 cloud beast recently. Put it on my rx200, been vaping at around 110 watts. This thing has great flavor and obviously huge and dense vapor production. Well worth the money. Its definitely an upgrade over the tf4.

Yah those tanks are badass, i have the exact same setup with the RX too. I'm also using this Cleito 120, running around 105 watts. Pretty similar to the TFV8 quad coil, also a .16 ohm.

Have you seen the RX 2/3? They have the option for 2 OR 3 battery mode. Niiiiiiiice.
