Vandy

Give them credit for being really good this year. But they are the biggest bunch of whiners I've ever seen. Ever been to a game at vandy for football, basketball or baseball - they boo at every call that goes against them, even those that are totally blatant. What a bunch of entitled, sports illiterate babies.
I actually attended the Music City Bowl in 2012 when Vandy played NC State. The only reason I did was because my son was playing pee wee football here in north Alabama and his team won the championship. The league was sponsored by the MCB, so the players from the winning team all got free tickets and their family got half price tickets. The players from all the championship teams in that program got to go on the field prior to kickoff and be recognized. I spent the next four hours of my life that day sitting in the designated end zone section with nobody within the entirety of the endzone area up to like the 20 yard line outside of the players' families, while it was about 30 degrees and sleeting.

They're trying to schedule another game for this Saturday. Just need an opponent.
I saw that - not going to matter unless it is Oregon, Ole Miss, A&M or Oklahoma - those are the only schools in playoff spots that they could replace. And I would bet everything I own that those teams will say "I don't think so".

Yeah... Stings a little. I can deal with losing Aguilar next year if Pavia loses that lawsuit. Ill take that tradeoff. He's everything to Vandy and they'll come crashing back to earth without him. I'll be here to be petty and waller in it..

Pavia is already mooted out of the suit.

He beat us once.

Deep breath.

Let it go.

Would you rather see the #1 5star QB at Vandy or at UGA with all their top talent?

You can’t dispute his physical talent, looks the part. One issue, or potential issue, he has played against the smallest and less talented D2 single A teams. There may be a year or two of him adjusting to the speed of SECs defense.

Honestly, this is worse than the UCF "National Champs" crap a few years back.

Clark Lea just showed what a (Vandy) tool he is by letting this drama play out.

Apparently, Lane Kiffin has competition for "Biggest Douchebag in the SEC."

Well, once Pavia graduates...

;)

Lea knows it’s over after this year, that’s why he’s being a douche about the playoff this year. He’s got the oldest team in college football and is losing a ton.

I personally would have enjoyed watching Vanderbilt play either Oregon or Ohio State or somebody like that.

Watching their fans melt down online is not that satisfying to me because (as a volunteer) my official position is that the dumb $h!t a school’s fan base does online doesn’t count. Just the good stuff.
I was unaware they had a fanbase. Learned something new about vandy.

The gumps still exist. They are unequivocally the biggest dochebag anywhere they go but I like the hate candy been getting around here. We only hate them when they beat us.

Vandy kicked our @ss. Grow up get over it and move on. The sour grapes is embarrassing.
It's not sour grapes, it's venom.

"Crush your enemy; see them driven before you; hear the lamentations of their women and children."

We literally cannot beat Vandy enough, or by enough, for the remaining years of my life, to satisfy me.

It's a character flaw. I'm good with it.

I agree if the shoe was on the other foot, we would be complaining but would we be doing the following? I sure hope not!

- Tweeting the President for an executive order
- Contemplating suing the NCAA and CFP
- And looking for a 13th game to try to make a case

They are insane. Complain like Texas and Miami - yes - but the above is over the top.
My money is we would be doing all that plus burning down all social media.

Players/coaches? No....but our fans, we'd probably be talking about leaving the NCAA and forming our own league.

A big difference is that much of this for Vandy is coming from the players and coaches. You can excuse fans with being crazy on social media - but a player and a head coach is a very different story.

Phil Knight graduated from Oregon. Ellison’s wife graduated from Michigan. Larry Ellison went to Illinois but dropped out. He has absolutely zero connection to Vandy other than his company having an office in the same city.
The country music artist are starting to put money in the vandy NIL.

It is so nice that it's Vandy's best season ever (and possibly never to be surpassed) and they're an undisputed 7th in the league. It's hard to say they're more worthy than Mississippi, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Texas, so they won't be moving past them.
