That's why I hate vu with such Passion, they are such a bunch of vaginal blood farts...I want the Dooley to beat them 75-0 and I still would be mad because it wasn't 76. I effing hate vandy, I hope they lose at everything.

Why investigate something that's legal. I farted earlier, and my nearby dog "investigated" by sniffing in the air looking for the noise. Guess that would be news on their board as well.

Just playing devil's advocate here :mf_surrender:, but I wonder how many posters on this thread have said in the past "we only want guys who bleed orange and are all-in"? IF (if, if, if, if, if!!) it's true that CDD is putting pressure on these guys to put up or shut up before they have a chance to really explore all their college options, there is of course no violation of NCAA rules, but I wonder if it's the best recruiting strategy in the long run? I see the potential (potential, just potential) for at least a couple of these guys to hurry up and commit, not work out for whatever reason (injury, lack of talent, attitude, grades, etc) and then get stuck in CDD's iron curtain transfer policy on the back-end and ultimately bad mouthing the program. That's obviously not something we want. We want guys that are all-in, that want nothing more in life than to wear the Power T and contribute and in my mind, that means letting them go have a look around at other schools. If they want to be here, great! Welcome aboard. If they have ANY questions about being here, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE so we don't have to deal with the drama. Playing at UT shouldn't have to be a hard sell.

But for some reason I am pretty sure I've heard (something to the tune of)

"He told me to be sure, and to look around before committing"

Come out of the majority of players mouths when referring to Dooley and their recruitment.

Hey guys! How much would it suck to be a Vandy signee, only to get to campus and realize that your high school team had better facilities? Vandy is the paper that the SEC wipes its butt with.

I hope this is the case. Would seem to be a little more in-line with CDD's philosophy and hard stance on transferring once here.

What happens when a slick shoe salesman like Franklin sells you something? Buyer's remorse sets in and you start thinking OMG, what have I done? Next, the SEC vultures will swoop in and pick their bones clean.

I think it has more to do with our self imposed sactions and someone in NCAA hinting that we may have done the right thing. If so, now we can tell recruits what we will be facing with out having to guess what might happen.

Vandy is a joke, but you guys are going to make me puke. Vaginal blood fart? A few people defacating, and even a photo of feces. Jesus Christ we have some nasty bastards on here.

Wasn't aware vandy had a board. Much less aware that it would take mods (plural) to run such a place. Does vandy have that many fans?

Yes they do but its rare that all four of them are online at the sametime. They all share the same computer.:pepper:

Hey, I just did an investigation that Franklin is telling recruits that he's changing Vandy into a winning program. They've rescheduled 10 FCS schools and hope for a 6 win season.

The thing is, if you read articles about the commitments, then you see that they fell in love with the campus.

I think you just look at the source and don't buy any of it. If they think it's some sort of recruiting violation that needs to be 'investigated' then how in the world could you trust someone who knows that little about recruiting. They're just blowing smoke.

For those of you in the Nashville area:

I have to snicker every time I hear the Vanderbilt Season ticket commercial. James Franklin goes on about "everything we do here at Vandy is going to be about *ahem* championships"

and by snicker I mean laugh hysterically.

I'll admit, the guy brings a swagger to VU--something they've never had from a head coach. I just wonder how long he's going to be able to keep that up after Vandy wins three or four games this year.

But any Vandy fan that legitimately thinks that they're going to truly scare the rest of the SEC with their recruiting prowess is sorely mistaken.
