Vandy is 13th and leading the SECE. I never thought I would see the other team from Tennessee ahead of us in the standings EVER in my life. Especially, leading over Florida and Georgia. This is pathetic. :cray:

No way Vandy is #13 in the country. I know they beat Auburn yesterday, but they are a product of their schedule.

The only SEC East team they've played is South Carolina. They still have to play Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Mississippi State should give them a good game.

May not be the "#13" team, but that's what they are ranked. They will hopefully end up like South Carolina, AL, and KY did last year.

The rankings at this time of the year are not worth the paper they are printed on or the bandwidth they use.

Vanderbilt drew three mediocre to bad teams from the SEC West in a year in which the SEC East is the weakest its been in probably over ten years. Their non-conference schedule is also pretty poor until Wake Forest at the end of the season.

If I figured right the teams we've faced have a combined 14-13 record and the teams Vandy has faced have a 15-15 record.

it's easy to spew hate on Vandy, but UT hasn't faced anyone either and sit at 2-3. It's about to get worse for the Vols with Ga,Bama, and others coming to beat the Vols.

It's funny that with good coaching and smart decisions, a so called "inferior" Vandy can do what they have done.

It is sad that it has come to this. Vol fans nitpicking Vandy's schedule to make themselves feel better. It should not matter if Vandy plays all high school teams, we should be better on the field and know it....

vanderbilt will be exposed big time either against florida or georgia. vandy fans better enjoy their temporary stay at the top. they won't be there all season.

seriously, i've tried to be happy that a tennessee team is doing good this year like vandy is and i cant bring myself to do it. it just seems wrong. i hope they lose the rest of their games.

I think the fact that Vandy is first in the east is the best news for UT, this is goin to be a wild wide open race for the east...beat UGA and LSU beats FL we are right back in it!!!

vandy routinely plays fla and ga close. so your hopes of them getting exposed is for naught. ut is the only team to be exposed in this state. if vandy loses to fla or ga, who cares? that make ut any better on offense.

people worry too much about other people. our team sucks so you see people jump on and trash other teams. too funny.

bottom line:

vandy is better, THIS YEAR. we should be mad as hell at the powers that be for allowing this.
