Vandy ranked #1

West End High....on the positive side, I’ve been able to get decent seats/tix at value pricing and get in and out of town, to include parking, fairly well. On the negative side, concessions and bathrooms are baaaaaad. Bathrooms remind me of my Junior High locker room that was built during the civil war. The foghorn is pretty lame. The Vandy fans leave at the first sign of a loss.

Vandy really should borrow Montgomery Bell Academy's stadium for the big games.

Also while we're at it, Memorial Gym is a dump too.

Their baseball stadium is the only place that is nice.

Memorial Gym has character. I kinda like that 3rd level upper level sweat smell. Reminds me of Hoosiers.

Ever since the Water Polo team drown the horses, baseball has become their signature sport.

Of course their stadium sucks. They don't even care about football, which makes this current 2-4 stretch over the last 6 years so embarrassing. In 3 of the 4 losses they have scored 40+ points, and 2 of the 4 losses haven't even been competitive. They are a much smaller program with much fewer resources and aren't even really trying, yet they are still beating us.
C'mon bud, cheer up. Think about it. We're probably the worst we'll ever be, and Vandy is probably the best they've ever been (except the brief stint of Franklin), and probably ever will be. Within the next three years all will be righted and the proper pecking order in the SEC East will be reestablished.

I hope so. I mean, even if the proper pecking order isn't 100% re-established, I'd hope we're a better team than Vandy over the next 3 years.

Again - they don't even try. Football is not even a priority or something they consider to be important from an administrative level. Football is the priority at UT and we have a war chest relative to them, but they've been better than us not just over a year or two but a period of several years. That's why it's so embarrassing.

I remember going to a game there when Jimmy Streater was QB and the players walked from I believe the hotel to the stadium in their uniforms. I just remember Streater walking right by us in his uni.

I looks exactly like it did in the late 80s early 90s when the state championship game was being played there

I disagree. UNLV has the worst stadium. Been to both of them, and there is no contest.

So Vandy has the worst atmosphere and UT's best team in the last 10 years (2016) still got their ass handed to them.

One thing I've found when I go back and look at stats and past results is that we all know it's bad, but it is really hard to overstate how bad the program has been since 2008. The "only" thing we haven't done over this stretch is lose to an FCS team, which has happened to other big programs in seasons where they've struggled.

Positivity: I also suppose we could have a much worse record against Kentucky since 2008 than we've actually had. This is the worst 10-11 year stretch in the history of the program, but we're 9-2 against Kentucky during it. Some of the Kentucky teams we have beaten, like this year and 2009, have been good teams by their standards with expectations of winning that game but left disappointed. They got Dooley once, and beat the worst team in school history last year, but that's it. We really could (perhaps should) have a worse record against them.

Mental edge. Or someone at some point sacrificed a couple goats so that UT would forever dominate UK and struggle against UF.

I’ve been there a few times. Other than being little, I didn’t think it was that bad.
I think Northwesterns is worse.

It’s pretty bad. Very small walkways, tiny and few bathrooms, poor concessions. Vandy has money to build the nicest stadium in the SEC. isn’t it time the SEC steps up and makes them improve their FB facility? They’re just taking the $ and doing nothing with it. At least Tennessee pays fires coaches with their share!

Worst college football stadium in America.

I take offense as technically this is Tennessee's alternate stadium much like when the Hogs play in Little Rock.

We should pay for renovation and expansion so we can pile in more Vol Fans every other year.

On a side note, why doesn't Vandy level this sucker and share the Titan's stadium. NFL teams are starting lose revenue and this would help out both. Works for Pitt and Steelers.

Vandy has the worst attendence at SEC BB tourney of any team when it’s in Nashville. West End Nursing homes don’t run buses downtown evidently

Troy has a better stadium and field than Vandy, their medical facilities are top notch though.

You would think, with being i that city and their endowment they could build a 70k seat, state of the art stadium.

We have a top 5 facility and they have a bottom 5 facility. Wonder why they have a better team right now
