My cousin picked me up a few extras to the vandy game. In the envelope was the vandy schedule. I noticed that they got all the other school's colors right except one. Guess which one?

There were a couple of years where Mississippi State's schedules replaced Ole Miss with "The School Up North" or "TSUN."

It's a little brother move, so don't give it too much thought.

Meh, they'll get plenty of orange that day. It's not like we couldn't easily orange out their stadium.

Also, it's going to be a very black day for them. They went ahead and put it in mourning colors.

I know for a fact that they get a steady diet of Vols Orange, even on their campus (yes, I contribute to that :) ). My Vandy student daughters had a professor last year who was very proudly a Vols fan, hehe.

I guess they're just looking for a little safe space. Even if the only place they can find it is on a piece of paper. :)

If UT fans wanted to do something really impressive, we should checker vandy's stadium for that game.

For a home game, the amount of orange in their stadium should be embarrassing to their program and a testament to their lack of support.

Maybe we are wearing black to the funeral.

They should be well out of bowl contention by that time, but Mason may be fighting for his job. Or perhaps by that point he's just hoping he can get fired and go DC somewhere else.

At least they didn't put the SEC championship game on it, even they know they don't have a shot at making it.....lol

I know we always outnumber them in Nashville, but who else was at the '98 game there? It was easily a 90/10 split that day. Earlier that season, we played UAB in Neyland. I think it was their first year in D-1. They brought more fans to Knoxville that day than Vandy brought to their own stadium when we played.:eek:lol:

I could be very wrong, but I think Vandy will surprise a few this year. Depends on their offense. I think their D will be very good.

I was. I'll never forget some dude walking up into our section. Had on orange, but also a fake mustache, Mexican poncho, and a huge bag of Tostitos. Stopped in the aisle, raised the chips over his head and yelled "TO THE DESERT WE GO! AYYYY YI YI YI!"

Funniest thing I've seen at a game. By far.

I know why they did it! UT will be the final nail in the coffin of what is commonly referred to as vandy football. That is why we are in black. That is the traditional color you wear to a funeral.

Vandy will always be the little brother.....these little passive-aggressive moves are all they have....and is comical to think that they thought it would irritate us. They can very easily go 2-10.
